About
I am a wildlife and landscape photographer. I grew up in rural Vermont, where my love of the natural world was shaped by the beautiful mountains, lakes, rivers, and forests.
After graduating from the University of Vermont with a degree in Environmental Science and Conservation Biology, I went on to become a backcountry trail crew leader and wildlife biologist. Traveling across New England to study wildlife and to build hiking trails, I have explored many wild places. As an avian biologist, I have been fortunate to have many rare encounters with wildlife such as Peregrine Falcons, Bald Eagles, and Common Loons.
With a backpack, hiking boots, and a camera in hand I am always ready to photograph the natural world and the wildlife within that I am so passionate about protecting.
I am interested in working as a contract photographer for magazines, journals, or conservation focused organizations. Extended trips in the backcountry, getting my feet wet in rivers, or touring up peaks in the winter - capturing interesting moments and the beauty of nature in any condition with some adventure along the way is what excites me. Please contact me if you are interested in discussing new opportunities.
